Hello SHS 1990 Alumni!!!

It is official! We finally have a time and a date set for the Reunion!

Date: August 14th, 2010

Place: Rolling Knolls Country Club, Elgin Illinois


We wanted to get the date out as we know a lot of people need to plan their calendars accordingly. Price info as well as a few other goddie bag of information will be on its way soon!

But right now, start planning on on being in Elgin, IL at Rolling Knols Country Club August 14th, 2010!!!

Answer to "When are we having this anyway?"

Hi everyone- I see our Facebook group has already grown to forty members and people are (rightly so) asking the question: WHEN is the Reunion going to be?

Just a few weeks ago, some of your class officers (I'm using maiden names from now on so everyone knows who I'm talking about) Carol DeJulio, Lety Briseno and Michelle Forgeron had a Reunion planning meeting. On their way, they saw Nikki DelVigna and I minding our own business and hit us with their cars-the understanding being we would get medical care if we helped plan the Reunion. We agreed.

We all met and discussed plans- we are in the process of calling restaurants/halls/etc in the quest to get everyone a good deal. We also have been speaking to a company that specializes in Reunions and may use their services if the deal looks good.

Because its December, everyone is just as busy with their loved ones as you all are but please know we are on our game! Trust me- there are some serious taskmasters at work. Carol, Michelle and Lety have files on this stuff.

We will have a date locked down soon in the beginning of the New Year. I don't want to promise by a certain day, but we want the day locked down just as much as you all so everyone can plan their calendars accordingly.

Now that we have covered business, why not share some old memories? Want to post here? Leave a message in the comments and I can add you as a poster and you can fill this blog with all kinds of great stuff that we'd all like to see.

If you really don't want to, but would like to send me a picture (in .jpg format) and have me post if here, email it to: Reunion.SHS1990@gmail.com and I will put it up here for you!

If no one shares pictures with me, you are all going to get real tired of looking at pictures of me. (I'm sure that's an understatement...now revel in me, and keep reveling until someone sends me some pictures!)

Streamwood High School Class of 1990 20 Year reunion!

It's Reunion Time for the Class of 1990!!!

Hello class of 1990- can you believe it has been TWENTY years since we all graduated high school? Right now I am sure most of you are settling into the holiday routine with your loved ones having just had Thanksgiving and now planning on Christmas and Hannukah celebrations.

This blog (and our Facebook group located at: SHS Official 1990 Class Reunion Group) are both here for all of YOU! Feel free to post here or at the Facebook group memories you had from High School and even photos. (I'd say video too...but was video invented then? ahem). It is the planning committee's hope that this will be our online, virtual "Memory Book" where our class can come and catch up with each other as well as share memories.

Speaking of the planning committee, you are probably wondering who the heck is putting this shindig together. Well, if you look at the upper left of this post you'll see a fetching group of happy people smiling at you. They are, from left to right:
